March 2008

Dear Student:

Welcome to New Jersey Institute of Technology!

We are delighted that you have chosen our university as your place to study in the United States. We will welcome you on campus in August 2008.

If you arrive to campus before orientation, please come to our office, Fenster Hall Room 140, to say "Hello" to us. We want to meet you and personally welcome you to NJIT.

Our August 2008 undergraduate and graduate orientations will be held separately. Please review the web site at a later date for the dates and times of these orientations.

The Office of International Students and Faculty will become your "home away from home" during your career at NJIT. We are here to answer your questions. We will offer workshops on topics of importance to you and we will be here to help you in decision-making relating to your immigration status. We work as a team and all team members have the expertise to guide you while you are here at NJIT. Please see us at http://oisf.njit.edu/iso_staff.php.

All of us wish you safe travel to NJIT. With questions or concerns, you can reach us at international.students@njit.edu, call (973) 596-2451, or fax to (973) 596-5450.

Yours Sincerely,

Jeffrey Grundy,
Director, Office of International Students and Faculty
